ALLEN PARK -- Miles Frazier has been kept off the field for the Detroit Lions since way back in the spring program.

But the fifth-round rookie offensive lineman will make his in-season practice debut on Wednesday. The Lions are opening Frazier’s 21-day acclimation period, and it couldn’t come at a better time with Christian Mahogany out until at least late December.

Frazier injured his knee back in May during the spring program. He has been on the physically-unable-to-perform list ever since then, but after missing all of training camp and the preseason, he will hit the ground running eight games into the season.
