A 34-year-old man was arrested Nov. 3 in connection with the March 2024 fatal shooting of two teens in Hermitage.
Xavier Ellison was arrested on a murder indictment during a Nov. 3 traffic stop for illegal tint on Interstate 65 in Franklin, Nashville police said.
Police said Ellison, a passenger in the vehicle, gave a fake name, but the officer was able to identify him.
Ellison remains jailed on a $200,000 bond and is facing two counts of first-degree murder and one count of being a felon in possession of a weapon, records show.
Ellison is the second person charged in connection with the deaths of Camron McGlothen, 17, and Reginald Smart, 18, both fatally shot at the Hermitage Flats Apartments on Old Hickory Boulevard.
