Hutchinson, Emporia temporarily suspend water shutoffs

HUTCHINSON, Kan. (KAKE) – Officials in Hutchinson and Emporia say both cities have temporarily suspended water service disconnections for late payments.

The City of Hutchinson said Tuesday , “The City of Hutchinson understands that the uncertainty surrounding the ongoing federal government shutdown may be causing financial strain for some members of our community.”
