Democratic incumbent Kelly Convirs-Fowler, 44, has won reelection with about 60% of the vote, compared with Republican Kyle Pasquarella with around 40%, with all Election Day, early in-person and mail-in ballots counted.
Fowler faced Pasquarella, 31, for Virginia’s House of Delegates 96th District . Convirs-Fowler was first elected to the House in 2017, and has held the District 96 seat since her reelection after redistricting in 2021.
The district encompasses central Virginia Beach to the southwest border of the city. Members of the House of Delegates serve two-year terms.
