Tom Izzo continues to look to the future of Michigan State basketball , even as the current season got underway this week.
The Spartans picked up a commitment from four-star 2026 recruit Jasiah Jervis on Wednesday, Nov. 5. The 6-foot-5 Bronx native and product of Archbishop Stepinac High in White Plains, New York, is rated No. 35 overall and the the second-best shooting guard in his class according to 247Sports.com’s composite rankings.
Jervis reportedly picked MSU over Tennessee, Pitt, North Carolina State and others.
“I chose Michigan State because it felt like a family as soon as I got on campus,” Jervis told On3.com . “Coach Izzo was super passionate and involved throughout my whole recruiting process."
Jervis joins 5-11 point guard Carlos Medlock Jr. and 6-7 power forw
