LANSING, Mich. (WLNS) — At least eight Michigan departments have submitted a report to the Office of the Governor on the possible impact of tariffs on the state's economy. Reports indicate that higher prices, more expensive housing, and an unstable job market could be on the horizon.

In July, Gov. Gretchen Whitmer issued an executive order, asking the departments to gauge the impact of tariffs on Michigan and its residents.
