SHERILLS FORD, N.C. (QUEEN CITY NEWS) -- Deputies with the Catawba County Sheriff's Office responded to Highway Tire in Sherills Ford Wednesday regarding a report of a disturbance involving multiple individuals, one reportedly armed with a firearm.
Deputies determined that an alleged dispute occurred at the business between employees and a vendor. During that incident, two employees allegedly assaulted the vendor and discharged a firearm into the delivery vehicle.
The two employees also allegedly took property belonging to the vendor and prevented him from leaving.
