A couple were found dead in their bedroom with a positive pregnancy test beside them.

Mark Martin Sinton, 42, and his long-term partner Claire White, 32, were found dead by Mark's mum.

She had gone to check on the couple when she discovered the bodies of her son and his girlfriend.

The couple, who had four children together, were found lying on top of each other on the floor in a state of undress, an inquest heard.

The inquest heard how Claire and Mark had a history of IV-drug use, including heroin, cocaine and methadone.

The couple - who had been together for 17 years - lived together at Mark's mother's home in Prirory Road, Barnsley.
