LAFAYETTE, Ind. -- A Lafayette woman was recently arrested after she reportedly set the home she was living in on fire because she was "tired of people watching her."
According to court documents, 49-year-old Annette Fisher was charged in Tippecanoe County with one count of arson. Officials said that the state requested Fisher's bond be $100,000 surety and $10,000 cash.
On Monday morning, officials responded to a reported fire at a home on South Fourth Street in Lafayette. The court documents indicate that the fire appeared to "have caused significant damage to the first floor of the residence."
According to a news release from the Lafayette Fire Department, no occupants were found inside the home during the fire. However, a dog did not reportedly survive the fire.
