ATTLEBORO, Mass. (WPRI) —When the Attleboro Public Library closes at 8:30 p.m. on Nov. 17, the building will remain closed for the rest of the year.

In a social media post, the city announced that the facility at 74 North Main St. will be closed while crews work to replace the library's flooring. The city noted that the current flooring is more than 30 years old.

Over the next two weeks, patrons are encouraged to check out any materials they may want from the library for the remainder of the year.

The library's book drop will be closed during that time, but borrowed materials can be returned to other libraries in the area that are a part of the SAILS Network.
