(PINPOINT WEATHER) -- The clock is ticking on hurricane season, but there is still some time left on the clock, which means we can’t quite get in victory formation yet. However, it will be hard for the season to make a late-game comeback, especially in a month where activity is limited.

Tropical systems have a tough time forming in the month of November due to increasing wind shear in the Atlantic. Storms are usually limited to forming along the coast due to stalling frontal boundaries.

This was an average season when you look at the statistics, but there were a lot of alarming things to take away from this season.

We have had 13 named storms so far, five hurricanes, and four major hurricanes.

The big concern from that is that out of the hurricanes that formed, only one of them did not
