GREENVILLE, N.C. (WITN) - A bicyclist has been seriously injured in a crash this afternoon in Greenville.

Greenville police say it happened around 3:50 p.m. on Greenville Boulevard at the entrance to University Commons Shopping Center near Kirklands.

Police say the cyclist was making a left turn into the shopping center when he was struck by a car. He was taken to ECU Health Medical Center with serious injuries, police say.

All westbound lanes of Greenville Boulevard in front of University Commons Shopping Center are closed as police investigate the crash.
