GLASTONBURY, Conn. (WFSB) - Emergency crews responded to a crash in Glastonbury on Friday night.

At around 8:53 p.m. officers were called to the area of Hebron Avenue after a report of a crash involving three vehicles, the police department said.

When first responders arrived, they provided aid to all of the occupants in the crash.

Two people who suffered serious injuries had to be removed by firefighters.

Both occupants had life-threatening injuries and were transported to a nearby hospital for treatment.

Following an investigation, it was revealed that a driver going westbound on Hebron Avenue tried to make a left hand curve when they suddenly lost control.

The car crashed with another car traveling eastbound who was then hit by a separate vehicle.
