BRAINERD — I’ve done it.
I’ve found the absolute coziest book in existence, and I can’t wait to share it with you all.
“The Spellshop” by Sarah Beth Durst is a beautiful little fantasy novel, bursting with all sorts of fun magic — merhorses, forest spirits, talking plants, flying cats and a library full of spell books. Pair those elements with a little bit of conflict, a dash of romance and a dollop of witty banter, and you’ve got what I’m considering one of my favorite reads of the year.
Everything about this book made me ridiculously happy. I spent the last week curled up in my favorite reading chair with a cat on my lap, a pumpkin pecan pie scent wafting from my wax warmer and the perfect book to complete the cozy fall atmosphere.
