DENVER (KDVR) -- Police are asking for help identifying a man believed to be involved with an ongoing issue where the suspect reportedly follows girls and women in Lakewood.

The Lakewood Police Department said a "suspicious male" was seen near apartments at 10129 W. Dartmouth Pl., Bear Creek High School, and surrounding areas on both Oct. 4 and Nov. 4.

Police said the suspect "has been involved in an ongoing issue of following female residents and visitors on the Bear Creek Trail."

The suspect has been seen targeting high school-aged girls and mothers with baby strollers, police said.

Police agents are asking the public for help identifying the man, and the department released the following images:
