DOTHAN, Ala (WDHN) -- One popular vendor didn't know whether they would be able to make it to the National Peanut Festival after struggling to stay afloat for months, but now they say the festival is doing wonders for their bottom line.
After a cloudy summer of hardships for the Wok N Soul food truck owners, their dream to keep their business alive is looking brighter, with the help of events like the over a weeklong National Peanut festival.
"We ain't completely out of the hole yet, but it's heading that way. Maybe whenever we finish these 10 days, we should be fine," Eulus Mitchell, Wok N Soul owner.
While it may be their third year at the festival, this year's business is much different.
