MANCHESTER, N.H. —
Parts of northern New Hampshire could wake up to snow early Thursday, especially near higher summits of the White Mountains.
This comes after Mount Washington has already picked up over a foot of snow this November. The average monthly snowfall for the summit is 35.6 inches.
The next series of fast-moving systems will cross through the Granite State later Wednesday evening into Thursday morning, with more snow on the way for higher elevations.
Some mountain roads, including the Kancamagus Highway, Interstate 93 through Franconia Notch, Route 302 through Crawford Notch, and Route 6 in Pinkham Notch, could be slippery from a slushy accumulation of wet snow early Thursday morning.
Elevations above 2,000 feet could see several inches of snow fall.
