LAFAYETTE, La. (KLFY) -- Two men have been arrested in Lafayette in connection with the death of 18-year-old Gabriella Sharp, who was found unresponsive at a convenience store on Friday.

Kaden Richard, 18, and Jaiquan Pierre, 19, have been charged with sexual battery and video voyeurism, although police do not believe they caused Sharp's death.

Corporal Ashley Wood with the Lafayette Police says authorities have no reason to believe the suspects had anything to do with her death.

"At this point there is no reason to believe that they had anything to do with her death," said Wood.
