SAULT STE. MARIE- The Lake Superior State University Basketball team is set to open the 2025-2026 basketball season and recently announced their upcoming promotions and season ticket details.

Last year, the Lakers made their deepest run in program history. That team will be honored with a banner-raising and ring ceremony on Saturday, November 29th, for the Lakers’ home opener against Lawrence Tech.

In addition to that game, the Lakers will host Walsh on Education Day on December 15th, Military Appreciation Night on February 12th, Fan Appreciation Night on February 19th, and Senior Day on February 21st.

Season packages and single-game tickets are now available online and at the Norris Center box office.

The Lakers will begin their season on November 14th against Lake Erie.
