Your standing in your fantasy football league can come down to a single point. One missed field goal or extra point could be the difference between sweet victory and endless text messages from your friends laughing at you.

Here are the kickers to look at as we enter week 10, and which boots you need to throw in the trash

Start: Jason Myers (Seattle Seahawks)

While the Seahawks have been putting up a parade of points these last few weeks, particularly in the end zone, divisional matchups are always scrappy. Arizona is playing for its life heading into Seattle, and I expect them to make this game as grimy as possible. Myers has only missed a single kick in the past three weeks (a 53-yarder against Houston) and is quietly one of the more consistent legs currently in the NFL.

Sit: Joshua Karty (Los Angeles Rams)

From one spectrum of the NFC West to the other, don’t touch Karty with a ten-foot pole. Karty, drafted out of Stanford to the Rams, has been a disaster this season for the 6-2 team. Karty’s missed field goals and extra points have been the primary reason the Rams aren’t undefeated after nine weeks. Although the Rams' record might lead you to want to pick him up for some easy points, don’t be fooled. Sean McVay has lost all trust in Karty and will do everything in his power to keep him from deciding the game against archrival San Francisco.

Start: Andy Borregales (New England Patriots)

If you’re looking for efficiency, Borregales can deliver it. Drake Maye is piloting a clean ship over in the northeast and not leaving any scraps for the kicker to get big points, but the Patriots also haven’t had the toughest schedule. The upcoming game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers is going to be tougher than their last slew of games, and getting into the endzone shouldn’t be as simple as it has been. Look for Borregales to have a few more field goal attempts and to continue his strong streak of play.

Sit: Ryan Fitzgerald (Carolina Panthers)

Fitzgerald is already one of the lower-end kickers in football, and this week could be when people rush to pick him up as the Panthers are facing the Saints. Don’t fall into the trap. Fitzgerald isn’t automatic from anywhere on the field, and though the Saints defense is going to be made up of Swiss cheese, the running game of Carolina is going to have the day in the sun.

Start: Michael Badgley (Indianapolis)

It was the worst week of the season for Indianapolis, as they got smashed by Pittsburgh, but I expect a nice bounce-back versus a struggling Atlanta squad. The Colts' offense has been electric through the first two months of the season; however, look for them to take points when given in a game they need to win to solidify their playoff positioning. Badgley is one of the best kickers in the league, and the Colts should lean on him when facing Atlanta.

Sit: Graham Gano (New York Giants)

Two reasons for my pick of Gano here.

First, the Chicago Bears' defense is sturdy, and they seem to either make big plays or give up big plays. They’re not a team that gets killed by a thousand cuts.

Secondly, the Giants’ playoff dreams are all but dead, and with Jaxson Dart at the helm, they’re going to play aggressively. A team with nothing to play for generally takes higher risks, which means fewer field goal attempts for Gano.
