Meghan Markle has returned to acting eight years after she quit Hollywood to marry Prince Harry in 2018.

The Duchess of Sussex, 44, is set to star as herself in the upcoming film Close Personal Friends, The Sun reported on Thursday.

Lily Collins, Brie Larson, and Jack Quaid comprise the cast of the movie, which tells the story of two couples: One famous and the other not.

Meghan was on the set of the Amazon MGM Studios production in Pasadena, Los Angeles, near the Sussexes’ mansion on Thursday.

A production source told the publication the ex-working member of the royal family’s hiatus break from the big screen marks a major change.
