GILBERT, AZ (AZFamily) — The Gilbert Police Department has launched its largest-ever recruitment campaign as it opens 50 seats for its upcoming class of the Gilbert Police Regional Academy.

“This isn’t just about filling positions,” said Chief Michael Soelberg. “It’s about building a department equipped to meet the future. We’re looking for individuals who want to be part of something bigger than themselves, who want to protect, connect, and lead.”

The department said recruits into Class 10 will undergo a 23-week academy to prepare the future officers for success in a career based on public service and leadership.
