Don’t panic. Subway isn’t actually making a turducken sandwich. What they’re doing is far less adventurous and perhaps a little weirder.
This week, Subway announced that it’s set to release a trio of special edition menu items modeled after the traditional Thanksgiving sandwich . The new subs, dubbed the Festive Feast Collection , are set to debut on Nov. 13.
Each sandwich is topped with Monterey cheddar cheese, spinach, red onions and mayo. They’ll also include new stuffing and cranberry sauce toppings.
The three subs set to hit the menu are:
Festive Chicken with rotisserie-style chicken
Festive Turkey with roasted turkey
TurHamKen with turkey, black forest ham and chicken
In its announcement, Subway described the TurHamKen as its “spin on the Turducken.” This spin, of course
