The Union Government should consider launching RegStack, a centrally sponsored scheme designed to help States and municipalities integrate into a shared national regulatory architecture. Just as IndiaStack revolutionised identity and payments, and HealthStack seeks to integrate health records, RegStack can transform the way compliance and regulation are managed. Its objective is not to introduce new rules but to render existing ones verifiable, portable, and predictable. At its core lies a deeper moral purpose: to replace suspicion with trust, discretion with design, and friction with confidence.
