SOUTH SIOUX CITY, Neb. (KCAU) — One woman is dead, and two other people were sent to the hospital following a fatal crash in South Sioux City over the weekend.

The South Sioux City Police Department (SSCPD) said at around 4:57 p.m. on November 1, officers were called to a three-car accident at Highway 77 and 5th Avenue intersection.

Officials said an preliminary investigation found that a 2001 GMC Yukon violated a traffic signal and t-boned a 2005 Toyota Highlander, which resulted in both vehicles hitting a 2016 Chevrolet Silverado.
