FORT TOTTEN, N.D. (KMOT) – Search crews have covered roughly 15,000 acres while looking for Danica White , who went missing on Saturday , though White’s whereabouts remain unknown as of Wednesday evening.
A spokesperson for the Spirit Lake Tribe said 22 separate agencies at the federal, state and tribal levels are involved in search efforts.
The 20-year-old White has not been in contact with anyone since Saturday, when she reportedly called 911 asking for help and saying she was cold.
Her disappearance comes as temperatures across North Central North Dakota this weekend are expected to dip into the 20s for highs, with lows in the teens.
