COLUMBUS, Ohio — One person was seriously injured in a two-vehicle crash Wednesday night in the University District, according to a Columbus public safety dispatcher.

Officers with the Columbus Division of Police were called around 8:25 p.m. to the intersection of North High Street and East Woodruff Avenue on a report of a crash.

The dispatcher said the person was taken to Wexner Medical Center in critical condition.

North High Street is currently closed from East Woodruff Avenue to Lane Avenue.

No additional details about the crash were immediately available.

The crash remains under investigation
