GOLDEN VALLEY, Minn. — Some pretty big companies have been making headlines recently for cutting jobs. Surveys have found that people are suffering from “layoff anxiety,” but at the same time, are also unhappy with their current job situation.
"Job satisfaction is at an all-time low. Job happiness is at an all-time low," says Maria Gracia Santillana, careers reporter at Forbes.
Santillana has been following the situation and changes in the workplace since the pandemic.
“It was a very employee-friendly market. Everyone was jumping jobs. It was very easy to get kind of a salary bump at an equal position at a competitor," Santillana recalled. "That's not the situation that we are in now.”
