Arrests have been made across the UK after a chaotic Bonfire Night saw yobs attack police, firefighters and members of the public with fireworks .

Police in multiple towns and cities were forced to issue dispersal orders breaking up large crowds as anti-social behaviour gripped the streets, with groups of unruly youths terrorising passers-by. Officers faced some of the worst of the violence, though even firefighters were targeted, while some parents described being too afraid to leave their homes over fears for their children's safety. Some of those arrested were as young as 14 years old .
