Teenagers were seen 'throwing fireworks like toys' and setting illegal fires in towns across Greater Manchester in more scenes of Bonfire Night chaos.

Horrifying new footage shared with the M.E.N show how fireworks were hurled at passers-by, cars and emergency services while large groups engaged in games of 'cat and mouse' with police on November 5.

In total, fire crews were sent to 216 incidents between 9am and 10pm.

Large groups of youths gathered around Ordsall Park, in Salford , and Halliwell Road, in Bolton , where several officers were forced to attend, as well as letting off flares in the middle of the street in Hyde .
