A lull in the activity today with sunshine around through the day. Friday's Impact Day is for windy conditions and widespread rain that arrives in time for high school football games. Sunday is also an Impact Day with scattered showers, plummeting temperatures that will lead to our first snowflakes of the year.

Impact Day: More rain Friday evening

We round out the work week with an Impact Day on Friday. It will be another warm day ahead but a better chance for rain courtesy of a swift cold front. The timing of the rain will impact the evening commute, high school football playoff games, and other evening plans. The rain will dry up early Saturday morning.
