SAVANNAH, Ga. (WSAV) -- The inaugural Hostess City Food and Wine Fest is Saturday.

Event organizer Erica Baskin joined WSAV News 3's Andrew Davis to share some of the highlights. "Everyone in [Savannah] loves food. This is a day that you can celebrate with all of the local restaurants. Social media has been blowing up for weeks with people anticipating their favorite chefs."

The delicious food offerings will be paired with great wine too. Sommelier Caleb Poppell says an event like this is important to Savannah's overall food and wine scene.
