Tennessee has entered its second severe weather season, which typically peaks in November according to the National Weather Service.

The second severe weather season continues through December, however, severe weather may continue throughout January and February.

Nashville and Middle Tennessee are expected to receive some potentially severe weather ahead of the state's second severe weather season.

According to the National Weather Service , a strengthening cold front is making its way across the country toward Nashville. The weather could bring strong to severe thunderstorms.
