QUINCY (WGEM) - “Land of Lincoln Legal Aid” parked their van in front of the Adams County Courthouse to provide legal advice.
Springfield-based Land of Lincoln Legal Aid made its way to Quincy on Wednesday. The company helps those in need of legal advice.
“There’s a lot of legal talk and legal words that they don’t understand,” Executive Director Clarissa Gaff explained.
The company has been around for more than half a century, but the mobile aid center is brand new.
“We’re here, we’re available, we’re ready to help, and you can request us to come visit your local community,” added Gaff.
She added that for many low income people, legal advice can be hard to come by. That’s what she said motivated the company to hit the road to reach more people.
