A man who disposed of a Second World War-style submachine gun from the scene of a fatal shooting has been handed more jail time.

Dante Kalsi carried away the Sten weapon from a unit at the City Industrial Estate in Winson Green on April 13, 2021.

He removed it from the body of Gavin Parry. The victim had been shot dead after running into the unit carrying the gun while wearing a balaclava and bulletproof vest.

Less than 30 minutes earlier 31-year-old Mr Parry had stormed out of the unit after a row with a young group of males.

A trial at Birmingham Crown Court heard 13 men were inside the building when he returned.
