BEDFORD — A Bedford man is facing charges of residential entry and criminal mischief after a homeowner’s doorbell camera captured him allegedly attempting to enter her residence and causing damage to the door handle.

Jeremy W. Evans, 39, has been charged in Lawrence County following an investigation by the Lawrence County Sheriff’s Department into an incident that occurred late on October 20, 2025.

The investigation began at approximately 11:33 p.m., when a resident in the 700 block of Trinton Circle contacted the Lawrence County Sheriff’s Department to report a suspicious male attempting to gain entry to her home.
