BEDFORD — The Salvation Army of Lawrence County is now accepting applications for its annual Angel Tree program, which provides Christmas gifts for children from birth to age 15.

Applications can be picked up and dropped off at Bedford Federal Savings Bank on John Williams Boulevard. Completed applications must be returned by 5 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 14.

The organization’s Red Kettle Campaign will kick off the following day, Nov. 15, at Walmart in Bedford and will continue through Dec. 24. The Salvation Army is seeking volunteers — individuals, families, community groups, and organizations — to serve as bell ringers throughout the holiday season.
