A Sioux Falls woman is behind bars, accused of firing a gun outside a Tea business and grazing at least two people. 19-year-old Mattison Hitzeman is charged with three counts of Aggravated Assault and one count of Reckless discharge of a firearm. The shooting happened early Sunday morning at the Casey’s Truck Stop in Tea.
Right now, in South Dakota, if someone were to take your picture off your Facebook account and use it to make AI pornography images, they might face at most a misdemeanor under state law. Attorney General Marty Jackley wants to change that. Jackley says the arrest of a worker at the state driver’s license office in Aberdeen amplifies the need for tougher laws.
