The roster looks almost the same as last year, and that's where the similarities must end for the Bloomington North girls basketball team.
The Cougars are without a senior this year, but have plenty of varsity experience back in their sophomore and junior classes. North welcomes back four starters and five players who averaged between 5 and 10 ppg for a 13-12 squad.
They'll face a beefed-up schedule, but it's a team more ready for the challenge than it was a year ago.
"Having four starters back is very important," third-year coach Kiley Jarrett said. "I don't have to do a lot of teaching; it's more fine-tuning all the options we have offensively and defensively. We can just get after it.
