Republican candidates for Alabama attorney general Jay Mitchell and Katherine Robertson continue to post large and competitive fundraising numbers in what’s become one of the biggest races on the 2026 ballot.
Mitchell, the former Alabama Supreme Court associate justice, raised about $210,000 last month and ended October with more than $2 million on hand.
According to Robertson’s monthly campaign finance report for October, her campaign took in more than $201,000 in contributions. Her monthly report showed $1.7 million cash on hand.
And so far for November, Robertson has reported a $150,000 contribution from the Montgomery-based Rule of Law Action Fund, which was registered as a nonprofit entity last week by Saxon Main, an attorney at the defense law firm Ball, Ball, Matthews, and Novak.
