Following an election night that saw Democrats secure historic victories across the country, Case Dixon–Republican candidate for U.S. Congress in Alabama’s 6th District–is calling on the GOP to address economic issues like inflation and increased cost of living.

“Last night’s elections sent a loud message,” Dixon said in a statement Wednesday. “When Republicans ignore the economy, voters ignore Republicans.”

Dixon, who is challenging incumbent U.S. Rep. Gary Palmer, R-Ala., claimed that he, not Palmer, would be best suited to improve economic conditions as the representative for Alabama’s 6th District.

“We need to heed the warning shot. My opponent isn’t up to the task. If we want to win in 2028, AL-6 needs a representative who gets it,” Dixon said.
