RUSSELLVILLE, Ky. – The Logan County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a shooting incident.

Logan County Sheriff Stephen Stratton says deputies responded to a shots-fired call at 1391 Newton Road in Russellville on Wednesday evening.

Deputies and officers from the Russellville Police Department discovered a male adult with an apparent gunshot wound.

The victim was identified as Marvin Patterson, 62, of New Albany, Indiana.

Patterson was transported and then flown to Skyline Medical Center in Nashville, Tennessee, for injury treatment.

In a release issued Thursday morning, Stratton says Patterson is in critical condition.

Detectives from the Logan County Sheriff’s Office responded to the scene and are investigating.

Stratton says no arrests have been made.
