MASON COUNTY, W.Va. (WSAZ) - A woman has been arrested after a hit-and-run fatality occurred on November 4, according to West Virginia State Police.

Marissa Russell, 30, of Milton, was arrested for hit-and-run causing death.

The victim who died in the incident was Virgil Patterson, 58, of Gallipolis Ferry, WV.

The incident happened at approximately 5:29 p.m. near 794 Wood School Rd. in Mason County.
