Ruben Amorim admitted Manchester United have made "mistakes" in the past after a comment from Cristiano Ronaldo this week.

Ronaldo sat down for another candid interview with Piers Morgan. The five-time Ballon d'Or winner discussed Amorim, saying: "He's doing his best. What are you going to do? Miracles? Miracles is impossible. We say in Portugal, 'miracles is only in Fatima', and he's not going to do miracles."

United head coach Amorim played alongside Ronaldo with Portugal's national team and he smiled as he was asked about his comment. "Of course, he knows and he has a huge impact in everything he says," he said.
