Indigenous games mark Tokhü Emong Festival in Wokha

The second day of the Tokhü Emong Festival was celebrated at the Public Ground, Wokha on November 6, with Wokha MLA and Chairman of the District Planning and Development Board (DPDB), Tseminyu, Arch. Jwenga Seb, gracing the occasion as the special guest. He also officially flagged off the Indigenous Games competition.

Extending Tokhü Emong greetings to the Lotha community, the MLA spoke on the longstanding friendship between the Lotha and Rengma communities, stating that their shared boundaries, forests, and cultural ties have long strengthened their bond. He remarked that visiting Wokha felt like “coming home.”
