Westport harbormasters and a crew from Tripp’s towed Mimi , homeport Westport Point, off the Fontaine Route 88 bridge Thursday morning, after it lost its mooring overnight. Harbormaster Bill Chace reported that the boat probably went adrift amidst strong gusty winds — it ended up on the west side of the bridge, just south of the center span. Mimi is currently safe and sound, with some gelcoat scrapes, on a Tripp’s mooring.
