Coronation Street star Jodie Prenger admitted to being brought to tears over a scene from one of her co-stars as she made a promise to fans.

The actress is much-loved for playing Glenda Shuttleworth in the ITV soap, joining back in 2020. She was revealed as the 'fun and sassy' sister of George Shuttleworth, played by Tony Maudsley, who made his first appearance in Weatherfield back in 2020.

When landing the role of Glenda, Jodie fulfilled a dream of starring in the Trafford-based show, thanks to her family always being big Corrie fans.
