FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA) - Blessings in a Backpack has launched its annual “Turkey Totes” program to ensure Fort Wayne Community Schools students have food to eat over Thanksgiving weekend.

With over 70% of FWCS students struggling with food insecurity, Blessings in a Backpack is trying to fill the need by stuffing bags of food for kids to take home over the long Thanksgiving weekend.
