GRAND FORKS – Great Plains Harmony, an a cappella men’s chorus directed by longtime local music teacher Mark McLaurin, will present a concert, titled “SING!,” on Thursday, Nov. 6, at the Empire Arts Center.

Tickets for the performance, which starts at 7:30 p.m., are $20 for adults and $10 for students. Go to GreatPlainsHarmony.org .

The concert will feature Hannah Diers, a well-known singer and performer in Grand Forks. Her father, Mark Diers, will emcee the show.

Along with the Great Plains Harmony chorus, four quartets will perform, said Kevin Dean, Grand Forks, a chorus member. They are Parts Unknown, Mannhaven Street, Mark IV and Nightcap.

Great Plains Harmony sings a variety of music, Dean said. Thursday’s program will feature some rock-n-roll, including songs by The Beach Boys
