Tuesday evening, Watertown Fire Rescue responded to a fire at a house.
Four trucks were on the scene — Battalion 1, Engine 4, Engine 1 and Medic 4.
Crews arrived at the single-family house at 7:20 p.m. Nov. 4. According to WFR, both smoke and flames were coming out o the bedroom window.
The WFR reported that firefighters quickly initiated an aggressive attack, containing the fire to a bedroom and hallway, preventing further spread throughout the home. All occupants were confirmed to be safely accounted for; however, a family pet was found deceased during a secondary search, the WFR reported in a release. No firefighter or civilian injuries were reported.
